NC History in U.S. History (1500-Today)
Our main focus will be from the American Revolution to modern history. My hope is that this website will be useful to keep up with day to day activities and lessons in class and will help students to keep up with work that may be missing. Assignments will be divided into quarters to help with following along. Assignment labeled with (1.0) are from quarter 1, (2.0) from quarter 2, (3.0) from quarter 3, and (4.0) from quarter 4. I will have 3 lists to help students and parents keep up with grading. Items will be in a graded section, waiting to be graded section, and upcoming assignments. If an item located in the graded list is missing in PowerSchool then it is considered late and will receive a zero. Please use this in connection with PowerSchool to keep up with student grades and missing assignments. All missing work, except projects, can be resubmitted at any point during the grading term to recover partial credit.

These videos are some of the coolest use of technology that I have seen in a while. Both are of great American speeches, but they have been auto-tuned. One of the creators of the video is an Appalachian State graduate. Please enjoy!
This video is a goofy remake of a song that talks about the Declaration of Independence, but it is a very interesting way to discuss the topic of the founding fathers and their reasons for "breaking up" with Great Britain.
