2.11 civil war Timeline and Map
The Civil War is one of my favorite historical times to discuss. Most students find this topic interesting due to the mass devastation that was caused during this war and the heavy death toll that this country faced. I like to take a different approach in my classroom with this topic due to the peak in interest with this topic. We will do a two part study of the Civil War and students are at the center of this discussion. First, all students will be participating in a Civil War study within class where they will research information on a specific topic of the Civil War with a group and present it to the classroom. Students will also be completing their own at home project that will focus their research on the Civil War. This project will allow students to be very creative and hopefully allow them to dive into an aspect of the Civil War that interests them.
